Discovering new things from farm to farm with the family
Together, children and parents move from farm to farm. In addition to animal experiences with horses and sheeps, the path from milk to cheese and from flour to bread awaits us. At the end of our farm experience week, there's a diploma for the little farmers among us.

All about horses/From sheep to wool
How are the horse's hooves shod? Which horse breeds and which riding styles exist? At the Unterlanzin farm we can also clean and groom the horses ourselves. After the work is done, we will ride a few guided rounds in the riding arena. As a souvenir of this afternoon all about the horse, you'll get a horseshoe - a bit of luck to take home.
From milk to cheese
At the Gostner Alp we make cheese from fresh milk. During the procedure, farmer Franz shows us the barn and tells us about the process of cheese making - from the cow to the cheese. We have a tasting session and discover the different tastes of milk. When our cheese is ready for tasting, we shape it and decorate it.
From flour to bread
At the Oberprantacher bakery, we can lend a hand to the baker while baking bread. Which ingredients do we need, how do you shake a "Schüttelbrot" and how do you pluck "Vinschgerlen"? The baker will show us the difference between the different types of grain used by the farmers and can tell us a lot about baking bread. At the end we can take home our self-baked bread.
The program is suitable for children from 6 years old, but only if accompanied by an adult.
