This afternoon, the weather will remain partly to heavily cloudy. The thickest clouds will be in the north of South Tyrol, and there will be light rain along the main Alpine ridge. Further south, it will be sunny at times.

Next evolution
The sunny, summery weather will continue on Sunday. Towards the evening, foehn wind will pick up in the northern valleys.
Monday will remain mainly sunny, with a slight increase in the likelihood of rain showers in the mountains during the afternoon.
On Tuesday, the sunny weather will continue, though localised rain showers or thunderstorms are expected again as the day progresses.
Wednesday will bring plenty of sunshine once more.

A warm front will temporarily bring moister air towards the Alps.
In the north, the sky will be very cloudy with rain expected during the day along the border ridge, whilst in the south the weather will be sunny at times with no rain.

Air pressure is beginning to rise and significantly warmer air masses are reaching the Alpine region.
The sun is shining across the mountains. The remaining morning clouds over the main Alpine ridge will clear, and it will be sunny everywhere thereafter.
